Busy as hell!

I've got sooo much to do in the next 3 days....picking up some screen printing supplies tomorrow, then going to get my slides (and pay out more $), gonna shoot with Jeff, then prep my screens. Work on Friday, go to the UD show in the evening, head back home and screen up the shirts....whew! And all the little shit in between. It never stops!

-Pat double fisting it....YEHAW!

BMX photos...

Some BMX photos from the past couple weeks of riding:

-Dave nosepicks the ghetto-parking-sub.

-Tony Tyrant launches into a high-speed wallride to avoid the cops on a top-secret night mission. He carved this shit out of this one!

-You don't have to be from Jersey to transfer them...

disappointed....

Four hours of riding, three rolls of film and only 2 half-way decent shots to show for it.....what a fucking let-down.

Slayer!

The Slayer show was awesome! Met up with Metal Steve and his buddy, Steve. Grabbed some sandwiches, drinks, cosmic brownies and headed up to Lowell, MA. We arrived just in time to check out Mastodon who were AMAZING! Got to hear 2 new songs that are just incredible! Slayer was great too! People watched, told (and heard) some great stories, laughed alot, listened to some good metal...a successful evening if there ever was one. Thanks to Metal Steve for driving and hooking me up with some new music (as he is prone to do everytime we hang out!).

We've finally done it!

So Tony T and I have been talking about this for a while now and we finally got off of our asses and did it. We've been getting tired of riding the same spots here in town (don't get me wrong, I love to ride and figuring out new, creative stuff @ the same spots is cool and all) so we've been discussing getting out and taking mini-road trips to other spots. So I set out to meet the crew @ the North End Banks when I get a call from Tyrant saying it's a bust. We met up, talked with a couple of random, cool urban big-wheelers that happend across us, and set out with no preplanned spots, just a bunch of ideas. We wound up a ways out from home and found/rode/shot some cool stuff. Three rolls of film, two bottles of water, three hostess cake products, 1 slurpie, 1 arizona green tea and four hours later (on top of a 10 hour work-day for myself), we found ourselves back in town and ready to pass out. Photos will follow of our adventures along with some stories I'm sure. We're looking forward to a bunch more of these throughout the summer so stay tuned.

More Exposure....

So I entered a photography contest a while back sponsored by Sandy Carson and Etnies. I didn't win (boooooo!) but I just found out that they posted one of my entries in the Top 100 runner's-up page. You can check it out here. I pretty stoked to get some more exposure!

Few More Photos....

Here are the rest of the [good] photos from the BMX Bank shoot...as far as what I have developed so far. Got one more roll left in the camera with a few exposures to finish up.

-Experimenting with multiple exposures with Tony T's icepick.

-Portrait of Dave B.

Ahhhhh....posting photos when I should be sleeping. Photography is such an addiction.

BMX Bank Session....

Here are some shots from the other evenings bank session. Possibly more to follow....

-Tony T double pegs our ghetto parking-sub set-up while Pete K lurks in the background. I believe that Tony rolled-back out of this to 180 out off the curb.

-Dave B 180 gaps up and over said parking-sub.

-The Tyrant thinks outside the box with this one-footed fuf.

Finally....New Photos!...

....Is what I'm sure you'll be saying after reading this blog. I went to my dear friend Chris' wedding last month and finally got some of the photos developed:

-Our table. Set in the back. We caused the most trouble. Wait.....is that a haiku?

-The infamous Sean and Juliee.

-Juliee's rad spoon art.

-another one of my famous 'Self-Portrait' shots. Alicia is wondering what the hell is wrong with me.

Old photo revisited....

Was just going over some older photos that I've taken. This is one of my favorites.....posted again for your enjoyment.

So the official word to the 'crew'.....let's start riding again! I need to take some more photos! I think we need to start moving outside of M-Town for some shots! I'm down for short road trips. Keep your eyes peeled for sweet rails, ledges, banks, etc in your day to day travels. Let's get it together! Hit me up and let me know.

New Art....

I drew this quick sketch tonight. I think the final version will have the skull blindfolded. I thought of that just after I inked it and came up with the name. Kinda like coming up with a great come-back to an insult a week after it happens....

I'm Back!

Back from hiding! Let's see....this (long) weekend I went to a wedding, played with some puppies, had dinner with my Mom, drank some beers with Matt, blew LOTS of cash to bully a jukebox, rode a lot, raced my track bike tonight, ate some good food, and hung out with lots of great friends. Not a bad weekend if you ask me.
I would LOVE to get a shit-load of messages from friends who want to race next Tuesday night @ Ghettodrome. According to our myspace profile, we have 52 some-odd members. 52! I've never seen 52 there to race, EVER! Granted I've missed some races, but for the past couple of weeks, there haven't been very many people. If you own a track bike or fixed-gear and want to hang out with fellow bike geeks, please let me know. I can cram three other people in my car and I'm sure we can scare up a few racks to transport as many bikes down with us. Let's get a big crew together and head down! You don't even have to be fast (but it helps)! Even if the idea of racing appeals to you, but you're afraid to try, you're the perfect candidate to come down! Let's go!
